This video was produced by stacking 244 (21sec each) luminescence IR Filter CCD images, which equals 85 minutes of time-lapse video. The rate of the comet's movement has been increased 255 times normal speed. Comet Hartley 103P had just passed the double cluster south of cassiopia on October 9, 2010. This is a composite of 2 separate imaging runs so you will see a change in telescope orientation part way through. The slight movement of the stars is from natural earth field rotation and constant tracking changes by the telescope. LX90 10-inch SCT scope with DSI II Pro CCD camera.
